Overview:
PGT has opened Peniel Children's Home where the missionaries can place their children and provide the best education that they can ever give. And thus they are able to go to the villages where there are no basic facilities like schools, hospitals and transportation. Ever since we started the Children’s Home we found a dramatic change in missionaries that they are initiating to go to such villages.

We started it last year and already 52 children of 50 missionaries are in the Children's Home and given the best education. We are taking care of the entire needs of the children till they graduate the 12th grade. This means 50 remote villages are reached already with the Gospel.

Project plan :
Now we are planning to help such 400 children of missionaries so that their parents can go out and minister to the unreached interior villages. But we also have the limitations by default. We are in need of a building where children can be accommodated. We already have the need of sponsors who can take care of one child or more at least for a year or till they graduate 12th.

The rationale:
The history of Christianity in India is as old as the arrival of St. Thomas. Yet thousands of villages are remaining unreached. The study we made about the reason in this particular area revealed that it is not because of the lack of missionaries.

About 30 years back PGT has started gospelisation and charity works in this particular area and yet we find that there are thousands of villages are left out without knowing Jesus. We are located in a place from where we can reach out to the interior villages of Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Tibet, Sikkim, Assam, and North Bengal. But it seems to be difficult to reach the gospel there because of the poor condition of transportation, hospitals, schools and etc, Eventhough the missionaries have the burden to go to such places, they stay back for the education of children in a world of competition. Here the Childrens Home become significant. Any fultime missionary who work in a remote willage, no matter which organization he belongs to, can entrust their child to us in the coming phase of Childrens home.

A school Bus

The children are studying in an English medium school where they will study for 12 years. The school is located 10 Kms away from the children’s home and we are in need of a bus for the children’s home so that we can take the children to school and back and also we can take them for vacation at different spots. Building for the home
