Overview:
In
a constantly changing world,
Word of God is constant and transforms the lives of
people irrespective of caste, creed racial and language
barriers across the world. It is extremely important
and great to study the ‘Word of God’ systematically
and share it with others in this age of 'latter rain'.
It is a God given responsibility too for every Christian.
PGT
realizes it in the true meaning and have come forward
with this needful initiative 'Peniel Missionary Training
Centre'.
The
rationale:
As we look around, evangelization is still
pending with the majority of 6 million Villages of
India. The graph is still below when the neighbors
(Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh) are taken into account.
The major cause is considered as the diversity of
Indian sub-continent. The diverse religions, castes,
dialects and cultures are strong barriers indeed but
even when they are hurdled, many mission ventures
seems not to be adequately efficient.
As
a solution to apply effectively on this complicated
scenario, PGT has designed an unique
method where the chosen laborers of the Most
High are prayerfully identified from the pool of this
vast sub-continent, instructed and prepared with an
intense curriculum, sent back to their own community
with motivation and support and tracking their penetration
with follow up and guidance for the best result.
We
have experienced better success using this methodology
as such previous batches of students significantly
elevate the soul winning graph.
We
proceed with your backing:
PMTC offers 2 years training with many practical sessions,
free of cost and the majority of them come from a
poor background. We have the facility to accommodate
50 trainees every year and many youngsters are willing
but we are unable to accommodate more than 30 due
to the lack of resources.
The
current batch is constituted with students from Nepalese,
Bhutanese, Rapha, Bengali, Boro, Hindi speaking and
animist communities. They are coming out each
year to the Lord’s vineyard, learning the methods
of evangelization through a success oriented anthropological
approach, capable of prayerfully overcoming the adversities
and opposition.
The
accommodation expense is $40 per head per month. We
target to extend the training to 50 every year and
this is where we need your help. You can either sponsor
one trainee and more.PGT also looks out for Gods provision
through you to place these vibrant Christian soldiers
