MINISTRY OVERVIEW

He is Pastoring the Bijoy Nagar Peniel Gospel Team Church. He has about 35 families in his church who are baptized and regularly church attending. They are mainly belonging to Adivasi (tribal) group of people. Around 50 children are attending the Sunday school. He is conducting the service on Saturday as the holiday falls, in this tea garden locality. The church is doing excellent work in evangelizing the surrounding areas. The believers bring their kith and kin to the Church or for the Gospel programs and the good news is spreading rapidly in this field.

The mission station, 'Naxalbari' was a communist Guerrilla stronghold from where the ideology spread across the country and during early 1960's to latter 1970 where the years of blood shed. It was known as a barbaric area where open killing and revolts were a common practice. The PGT chief Rev. Mammen Joseph was bombed there few years back, but God rescued him miraculously. Even though there are oppositions from invisible corners, people receives the word of God with a great thirst and the Church is growing rapidly.
