OVERVIEW
He
is the pastor of Kohinoor Tea Estate Peniel Gospel
Team Church. It is a multi ethnic tea garden area
where different communities and linguistic groups
are found as the labourers. The area is undergoing
different issues and people find peace with the good
news of Pas. Kalchand who goes around the place in
a bicycle. He has over 40 baptized believers in the
main Church. These believers are regular in their
churchgoing and so sincere in the ministry activities.
They are mainly belonging to Bodo, Bengali, Sadari,
Santhali group of people.
Outstations
Lohadangi
Tea Estate:
About 4 families are attending the church services
and out of them 5 are baptized. They all are poor
tea garden labourers who find the life a bit hard.
Future
Plan:
1. Extend to 2 more outstations which are neglected
and abandoned tea garden areas.
2. Improve the house fellowship in the outstation
to 10 families and construct a temporary church hall.
3. Training more believers to share the Gospel
Ministry Needs:
1.
A temporary church hall in 6 months time
2. Gospel packets and literature in various languages
3. A Motorcycle to increase the frequency of visits
and speed up the activities.
4. Musical instruments for the church.
