Salvation Experience
I was born March 12, 1979 in to an Adivasi Hindu family in India. I have got one sister and brother. My father was zealous about Hindu gods and rituals. He believed in idol worship and witchcraft. I was also following the same faith. I believed some trees as our gods too. My father was a drunkard and never cared for my family. My father married another lady and left us back at home. A few years back my mother was expired.

When I was 15, I heard about Jesus and didn't believe in Him because I was thinking that my gods were enough for me. When I turned 19 I fell sick due to a strange sickness that made me unable to walk. I was hospitalized for long time. Once, a believer that came to the hospital to see someone else gave me a New Testament. After a few days I left the hospital and came home. I was bedridden because I was unable to walk. I used to read the New Testament on my bed. Once, God spoke to me from Mark 5: 24-33, which encouraged me a lot and prayed unto God for strength to walk. God answered my prayer after three days. I could walk. This made me realize that Jesus is a living God and I believed in Him. I confessed about my sins and accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour on September 06, 2000.

My family members turned against me because I decided to follow Jesus. I was sent out of the home. I was staying with a sister for sometime. Since my mother loved me so much she called me back to home. One day, a brother came home and told me to go to study Bible. I told my mother about it. She didn’t agree with me. But I was praying and trusting in the Lord. Later she agreed with me as a result of my prayer.

Present ministry:
After the graduation I joined Peniel Gospel Team to work for the Lord. I am working among children and women. My desire is to work among my people who never heard gospel and establish churches. Please pray for my ministry and me.
